What the role involves
You'll join our Finance and Compliance team, helping keep our financial systems accurate, timely and insightful. Your day-to-day mahi will include:
- Supporting monthly financial reporting and providing insights to guide decisions
- Assisting with internal controls, process improvements and system testing
- Managing payroll processing and accounts payable
- Preparing and posting journals with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
What you'll bring
You're a quick learner who loves numbers, people and problem-solving. You'll bring:
- A recently completed (or nearly completed) tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce or a related field, or relevant hands-on experience in a finance or accounting support role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Solid Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A curious, proactive mindset with a drive to make things better.
