Job Description
How you'll make a difference
Join AECOM as a Water Team Lead in Christchurch, where you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of projects across stormwater, water, and treatment infrastructure projects while guiding a high-performing team. You'll bring a proactive management style and maintain close oversight of project delivery and focus on client relationships. Current work includes a range of stormwater, pumping station, renewals, and infrastructure improvement projects across the region.
- Act as a technical advisor, providing input and guidance across designs and project delivery.
- Ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes and consistency across deliverables.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams and provide governance on projects.
- Contribute to the overall AECOM water infrastructure strategy across New Zealand.
Qualifications
The qualities that help you thrive
- Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong focus on project delivery, client relationships, and team leadership.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently to clients and stakeholders.
- Skilled in client management and maintaining professionalism
- Strong technical delivery background, ensuring quality outcomes and practical engineering solutions.
- Established client network and trusted relationships, demonstrating the ability to win work and lead successful delivery teams.
