About the Role:

We are seeking a Head of Data Enablement to lead data governance, quality, and enablement initiatives.. This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic oversight, operational delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. You will drive the adoption of best practices, tools, and frameworks to ensure data is trusted, compliant, and maximised for business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of data governance strategies, policies, and standards across operational and analytical data.
  • Ensure data quality, ownership, and stewardship, embedding principles into analytics, platform, and data product development.
  • Oversee privacy and compliance initiatives, including PII classification and Privacy by Design.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Data Excellence Analysts, building capability and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with business, engineering, and analytics stakeholders to prioritise and resolve data issues.
  • Drive adoption of data management tools, such as Collibra, Ataccama, JIRA, and Confluence, and champion best practices.
  • Represent the organisation in data governance, quality, and risk forums, providing insights to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5–10 years' experience in data governance, data quality, and enablement programs.
  • Hands-on experience with large, complex datasets and data management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery, transformation programs, and change management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams.
  • Qualifications in data governance, privacy, or ethics (IAPP, DAMA, or related).
