A leading organisation in the ICT service and supply chain space is seeking an experienced IT & Data Lead to own and elevate its technology, data, and reporting functions.
This is a key leadership role where you'll guide a high-performing team, shape future strategy, and ensure systems and insights empower the business.
The OpportunityAs the IT & Data Lead, you'll provide end-to-end oversight of the IT and Data functions, including the leadership of a team of Enterprise Analysts. You'll set strategic direction, uplift capability, and ensure high-quality delivery across multiple business units.
This role suits someone who enjoys combining people leadership, technical depth and continuous improvement – and who gets satisfaction from enabling great outcomes through technology and data.
What You'll Do:Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team
- Build, coach and mentor a capable team
- Support performance, growth, and succession planning
- Foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and adaptability
Own IT Strategy & Support
- Lead the IT roadmap and ensure alignment with business priorities
- Oversee enterprise architecture, systems, applications and lifecycle management
- Manage IT vendors and ensure best-practice service delivery
- Maintain robust IT governance, budgeting, policies and processes
Drive Data Enablement & Reporting
- Oversee all data reporting, planning and prioritisation
- Ensure insights are accurate, timely, and value-adding across business units
Champion Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to standardise, automate and enhance IT & Data processes
- Support integration, optimisation and business transformation initiatives
Support Health & Safety
- Model safe practices and ensure the wellbeing of your team and stakeholders
What You'll Bring
- Proven team leadership experience with a passion for developing people
- Background in telecommunications, ICT, or enterprise IT environments
- Strong expertise in IT service management, solution delivery and data enablement
- Solid knowledge and understanding of data, reporting and prioritization
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft M365 and ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability
- Growth mindset, resilience, and a proactive approach to getting things done
- Strong judgement, analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
