About Prime
Prime Kitchens is a leading manufacturer and installer of high-quality Joinery for some of New Zealand's most prominent Builders and Property Developers. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to build our client base and represent Prime Kitchens on construction sites and across the volume residential market.
This is an exciting time to join as we strengthen our presence in Canterbury and our other regional locations. The role reports to the General Manager and is suited to someone who enjoys being out meeting potential clients and converting opportunities by passing qualified leads to our team of Designers.
What you will do
· Visit construction sites / offices daily introducing Prime Kitchens to builders, developers and project managers.
· Generate new business through door knocking networking and relationship building.
· Manage the full design and sales process from lead generation through to project confirmation.
· Work closely with our design and production teams to deliver accurate proposals.
· Maintain a strong pipeline and provide regular reporting to the General Manager.
· Represent the business professionally at all times and grow long term client relationships.
What you bring
· Proven sales experience ideally in construction building products or trade services.
· Exceptional knowledge of construction and property development.
· Confidence to approach potential clients and start conversations with decision makers.
· Strong relationship skills and the ability to close deals.
· Good understanding of the residential construction environment.
· Self-management and drive to meet activity and revenue targets.
· Full NZ driver's licence.
