Are you someone who loves connecting with people, solving problems and leading teams that make a real impact?

WestREAP is delivering the regional Attendance Service for the Ministry of Education, supporting 34 schools from Karamea to Haast. We're looking for a motivated leader to bring this service to life.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining relationships, coordination and community impact. You'll partner with schools, whānau and agencies to remove barriers to attendance, and work with teachers and principals to strengthen the systems that keep students engaged.

What you'll do

  • Lead a regionally based team delivering attendance and engagement services across the Coast.
  • Own delivery and coordination for the Ministry contract: case flow, data quality, reporting rhythms, privacy/compliance, logistics and scheduling.
  • Be the key liaison for schools and kura. You'll build trusted relationships with principals, teachers and Boards and help embed practical, school-level solutions.
  • Broker wraparound support with whānau and partner agencies so tamariki and rangatahi get what they need to stay at school.
