About the firm & opportunity

Our client has a growing Corporate team and has a position for a junior-intermediate level lawyer in its modern Auckland city based team. You'll work with two corporate partners doing large-scale M&A work, advising on joint venture arrangements, private equity work, capital raising for investor clients, management buy-out arrangements, corporate structuring and providing strategic advice to a corporate clientele. There will be varied work and you'll get to assist on transactions from start to end as well as have exposure to clients across a range of industry sectors.

About you

You will be someone that has:  

  • 2+ years PQE with some experience in a well-regarded corporate/commercial law team (recent private practice experience). If have a mix of corporate and other practice area experience, that would be of interest also;
  • Good academics - a B average or better; and
  • Passionate about further developing a career in the corporate/commercial law field and driven to do well.
