At Bodycare New Zealand, we are passionate about injury prevention, promoting employee wellbeing and facilitating targeted rehabilitation programmes for organisations in Aotearoa. Together, our team of professionals keep workers healthy, safe and injury-free.
We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapists and/or Physiotherapists to join our team and deliver onsite physiotherapy and vocational rehabilitation services such as Return to Work (RTW) assessments.
The ideal candidate will visit workplaces, meeting with employees and employers to achieve quick, timely return to work services. They will be motivated to understand an employee's workplace and pre-injury position, whilst also identifying any opportunity for the employee to be at work safely and as soon as possible.
With Bodycare, every day is different. Your role will include:
- Early Intervention – manage workplace injuries before they progress into chronic conditions.
- Workplace Assessments – whether on the tarmac, in the warehouse or on the road – learn to complete a variety of rehabilitation assessments.
- Education and Training – educate and empower employees on how they can take ownership of their own health.
- Build lasting relationships with workers, supervisors, and site leaders to help improve their health and safety culture.
Why Bodycare?
- Work with the market leader in the delivery of occupational health solutions to workforces around New Zealand.
- Flexibility – you will manage your own caseload.
- We truly value work-life balance. No weekend work or hustling to meet your caseload KPI's.
- Variety in your day-to-day schedule.
- Access to EAP and wellbeing workshops.
- Opportunities to develop your existing skills and exposure to different industries.
- Values-based company which looks after you and the people you work with.
What We Offer:
- Contractor position – workload negotiable to suit your circumstances.
- Regular professional development in-services, training, peer support and mentoring.
- Regular opportunities for career progression.
You Will Need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Current Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy degree and current practicing certificate.
- Great communication skills to create and maintain good relationships, and the ability to liaise comfortably with a wide range of people.
- A committed, curious and flexible attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Resident or approved work visa.
- Driver's license and own transport.
If you're an Occupational Physiotherapist or Physiotherapist with a passion for getting workers back to work, apply now. Let's work together to improve health and safety culture in workplaces across New Zealand.
