We're seeking an experienced Environment & Release Manager to support a major programme entering a critical phase of testing, cutover planning, and production readiness. 

Key Responsibilities Environment Management

  • Manage and align all non-production environments to programme schedules
  • Coordinate availability across multiple in-flight projects
  • Maintain environment integrity, refreshes, and post-testing restoration
  • Monitor environment health, readiness, and system dependencies
  • Coordinate cross-system changes for end-to-end testing
  • Maintain a detailed environment runsheet, including dormant and activation steps

Cutover & Release Planning

  • Build a sequenced cutover plan from non-prod to production
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and required changes across teams
  • Define rollback procedures and lead rehearsals and readiness checks
  • Ensure all cutover artefacts, approvals, and communication are in place
  • Support go-live through coordinated execution of the cutover runsheet

Skills & Experience

  • Proven environment management across complex, multi-system programmes
  • Strong understanding of integration testing and environment dependencies
  • Cutover or activation planning experience
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines
  • Experience with large-scale application or infrastructure delivery
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile environments
  • Knowledge of modern integration technologies
