Are you looking for a new challenge?

We have an exciting new senior role that will focus on aligning the digital needs of Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral within the hospital and specialist health services. This role will be fundamental will lead on connecting Digital Services with users and service users in MidCentral, building a deep understanding of digital capabilities needed by MidCentral clinical and non-clinical areas.

**The key deliverables will be**:

- Builds and maintains relationships with senior leaders and key senior users across MidCentral
- Develops an understanding of clinical and non-clinical user expectations of Digital Services and uses these insights to ensure that digital initiatives are appropriately planned for investment
- Provides effective two-way communication between MidCentral business units and Digital Services
- Proactively identify business capability and IT service gaps, and contribute to improvement efforts
- Oversees the scoping and refinement of digital initiatives through to business case generation
- Acts as the key point of contact into Digital Services for MidCentral business units to request new or updated services
- Communicates realistic expectations to MidCentral business units around Digital Services capability and capacity in line with direction from the Digital Services senior leadership team
- Advise and support Digital Services continuous improvement in value optimisation, IT performance, and business processes where applicable

**The skills, experience and qualifications we are seeking are**:

- Strong track record in a business engagement, business analysis or partnering role
- Demonstrated ability to interact positively with executives and senior clinical users to drive business value
- Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a trusted partner vertically within the business unit or function, as well as with leadership and functional teams
- Exemplarily written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organisation
- Experience in business case development and working with business analysts desirable
- Diplomacy: able to influence and motivate others using personal rather than positional power
