**Who are we?**

At Antarctica New Zealand, we proudly ensure that Antarctica and the Southern Ocean are valued, protected and understood. Our role is to support world-leading science and environmental protection and to raise public awareness of the global significance of the continent and surrounding Southern Ocean.

Antarctica New Zealand is undertaking the Scott Base Redevelopment (SBR) project to finalise the design then construct, transport and commission the new base, in Antarctica. As a result, the organisation is undergoing a period of change to enable it to successfully deliver on the project outcomes and continue to support world leading science.

**The role**

The People Change Manager’s focus is to support the people side of change associated with the SBR Project. Using the Prosci methodology, the role will lead the development and implementation change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role.

Responsibilities include:

- Support the refinement of the change management strategy and lead its implementation
- Use the Prosci methodology to prepare and support individuals and teams to adapt to changes in: Processes, Systems, Technology, Job roles, and Organisational structure
- Coach the SLT and People Leaders, to help them effectively lead their people through this period of change
- Engage with employees throughout the organisation to track and monitor change readiness, and develop and implement change management plans.

**What will you bring?**
- At least three years’ experience in a change management role/s
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the Prosci change process
- Prosci Change management certification desired
- Effective interpersonal skills, including the use of enquiry that supports understanding and adaptability to change
- Systematic and organised, with an ability to be flexible and adaptive to changing requirements.
