Systems Analyst Developer

**What you will be doing**
The System Analyst Developer provides expertise in the delivery of fit for purpose IT solutions to support business processes and user requirements that are essential for the day to day running of NZSPI, this is a 12-month fixed term position.
You will be required to contribute to and influence teams that are largely self-organising, you will use your skills and expertise to deliver solutions and provide support within a cross functional environment. This role specifically manages Linux Oracle Java platforms used in manufacturing.
**What you will bring to the role**
Teamwork, good communication and task management are essential for the success of this role, you will be tertiary qualified in an Information Technology discipline with a strong bias towards Software Development. You will have the ability to work through complex problems with a focus on solution delivery, you will need to have exceptional technical and problem-solving skills.
**Other key skills and experience include**:
- Experience in Java
- Experience in C#
- Strong background in the Linux\Oracle platform
**Experience in the following would also be a distinct advantage**:
- Design Patterns
- Agile Techniques
- Systems Integration
- Platform Virtualisation
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Azure platform
