You'll be innovating, creating, influencing, and designing to build, support and improve sustainable practice across the data and systems that are integral to decision making at Toitū Te Whenua.
Building relationships will be key to your success, gaining trust and confidence as you work with our people to mentor and increase capability across the organisation. You will be a strong communicator and influencer that can converse and partner with different business groups and across all levels of Toitū Te Whenua. You will have worked with change and welcome an agile environment.
We're not saying it would be easy You will be working in a brand-new role, at times it will be a little ambiguous, foundations might not be in place, and you'll need to navigate across Toitu Te Whenua. But we are a team ready to support you on this journey.
You could be based in our Wellington, Christchurch or Hamilton offices, we have flexible working that would mean some days in the office with your team and if you want, some days working from home.
**He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience**:
- Expert knowledge and experience in Data Practice Leadership and Management.
- Strong foundation in data analysis, data management, data modelling and data visualisation for complex organisations.
- Proven ability to lift capability of analysts, data engineers, and ETL developers to align with organisation strategy and objectives.
- Self-sufficient with the ability to drive forward work, bounce back from adversity and quickly identify issues and/or risks.
- Proven experience to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams on multiple projects at the same time.
- Manages expectations of stakeholders, teams and direct line management when delivering solutions.
The expected appointing range for this role is $115,000 - $150,000.
