Toitū Te Whenua - Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) is a diverse government agency that impacts most New Zealanders. We have a Business Advisor or Senior Business Advisor position available. This is a unique opportunity for highly motivated people to join our Customer Delivery group.
This exciting opportunity will see you supporting the planning and delivery of business activities, and aid in the achievement of outcomes across the group. You will also monitor the performance of outcomes. You will be collaborative in style and can effectively build relationships to improve strategic and operational links across your business group and with centralised corporate functions.

**What you will get the chance to work on**:

- 120 Day business planning and performance reporting activities
- Machinery of government operations such as Select Hearing Committees, OIAs & Parliamentary Questions
- Supporting the scoping, planning and delivery of business initiatives

**He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience**:
This is a position that transforms to support the work and activities of the day. Some of the things you will be responsible for are:

- Supporting key pieces of work that will achieve delivery of business group plans
- Advising on issues, monitoring, and reporting on business performance
- Identification and management of risks using LINZ frameworks, processes, and policies
- Contributing to planning and monitoring activities and ensuring they are completed in a timely, easily understood way and following through to ensure we implement and monitor our performance in line with LINZ's outcome framework

**To be successful, it is expected you will bring**:

- Confidence in developing effective networks and influencing others to achieve organisational outcomes
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, and proven ability to think on your feet and come up with innovative ways of communicating, and presenting information
- Practical understanding of corporate or machinery of government processes
- Resilience when working, and finding pathways through ambiguity.
- Relevant experience in a similar role.

**The annual salary range for this role is**:
Business Advisor - The appointing salary for this role will be between $83,307and $112,709 based on skills and experience.
Senior Business Advisor - The appointing salary for this role will be between $95,846 and $129,674 based on skills and experience.
