NZ's most recognized and largest Voice & Data communication systems company has commissioned us to commence the search for a Provisioning Engineer to work on one of New Zealands most important network projects ever undertaken.
You will be instrumental in the upgrade of the emergency services network routing, switching and communications equipment. A massive project, this role demands strengths in MPLS/IP Networking with Nokia & Cisco switching and routing coupled with Fortinet technologies.

**The role**:
The Provisioning Engineer will be responsible for the successful implementation of customer solutions dedicated to a project which supports 5 million calls for assistance a year.
You will provision, configure, test and deploy Ethernet, IP and Voice-related services and customer end-equipment (mostly Nokia and Cisco), ensuring services are built consistently at high quality, while also keeping costs under control and ensuring that the company delivers exceptional customer experience.
**About yourself**:
Technically minded, with 5 years of experience in Network Engineering, your core experience is in routing and switching and with advanced experience in MPLS/IP networking.
You can comfortably analyseand define customer requirements by working with the customer's technical or internal teams as required.
You can hold your own talking about OSI and be at ease updating network design documentation.
**Core Technical Requirements**:
- **5 years of commercial networking experience withFortinet and Cisco certifications, preferably NSE4, CCNP**:
- Fundamental knowledge of MPLS / IP Networking, routing protocols and hardware platforms including BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, Cisco, Nokia, Fortinet, and RAD (highly desirable).
- **Experience withNokia 7705 CPE (desirable), Fortinet 100/101F, and Cisco 9300 switches.**:
- If you have demonstrated experience with the various layers of a carriers infrastructure and services, from customer premise equipment to provider edge - this would be outstanding.
- Planning, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills with effective time management skills to manage the relinquishment duties in a comprehensive and qualitative manner.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver an exceptional experience to customers.
