I'm pleased to present this superb opportunity for an experienced Product Manager from the building industry, to join this exceptional business.

**About the role**:

- Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will manage the product portfolio and new product development pipeline for your segment
- Take full ownership of the product life cycle, including the end-of-life process to minimise SLOB provisions and write-offs
- Manage product launches ensuring new products are fit for purpose for the New Zealand market
- Development of product data sheets, training information, and website content
- Identify market gaps and provide recommendations for new ranges and extensions
- Maintain an understanding of the latest industry standards (e.g. H1, G4) and communicate any changes or impacts
- Troubleshooting of any quality issues, working to quickly resolve issues
- Assist the sales team with forecasting and pricing for new products
- Regular product training for internal teams and external customers
- Ensure internal and external compliance with Health & Safety guidelines

**About you**:

- Experience in product management from either the electrical or HVAC industry would be a major advantage
- You can demonstrate proven results in launching products within the building industry
- Experience in managing product lifecycles
- Ability to identify trends and identify new products to meet changing market needs
- Technical expertise with the ability to become the product expert and the go-to for all product queries
- A mechanical or electrical engineering qualification would be highly advantageous, but not a requirement
