We are seeking a new assistant manager who is interested in assisting with the hiring and training of other team members. You will also be responsible for ensuring team compliance with company policies, resolving customer complaints, leading the team, and organizing the team's schedule.

**Responsibilities**
- Assistant Manager include ensuring company policies are adhered to.
- Increasing profits by minimizing expenses.
- Recruiting, training, and cultivating new staff members.
- Resolving customer concerns to their contentment overall.
- Maintaining an overall management style that adheres to the finest practice's of the organization.
- Providing all employees with direction and leadership.
- ensuring product availability and quality.
- Creating and delivering employee evaluations.
- Assisting the store manager in leading the personnel.
- Monitor retail inventory.
- Assisting patrons when required.
- Scheduling employee hours.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Guaranteeing a consistent level of consumer service.
- Motivating employees and ensuring mission-centeredness.
- Maintaining inventory and a visual layout.
- Keeping establishments in compliance with standards, including stocking and cleaning.
- Performing tasks assigned by the general manager with precision and effectiveness.
- Assisting the store manager as required.

**Requirements**:

- Must be New Zealander
- Must be self-motivated and interested in self-improvement.
- Ability to operate independently when necessary.
- Be a good teammate.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and the quality of the consumer experience.

**Minimum 30 Hours guaranteed per week**

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
