Our Auckland Transport and Infrastructure team works on a wide variety of exciting projects within New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands, operating across the roads, rail, ports, airports and land development market sectors. With a strong current and future portfolio of projects, we are looking for talented engineers to join our team and contribute to making every day better for our people and our clients. We are looking for a Civil Engineer to act as the Engineers Representative Assistant within our diverse team. The role will include working on transport infrastructure sector projects of all sizes, in the Auckland and Northern region.

Each day will be varied and provide new opportunities for you to develop your experience, overall you can expect to:

- Undertake on-site construction supervision
- Carrying out on-site inspections and quality assurance monitoring
- Contract management of contractors
- Review of quality records and compliance with contract requirements
- Working with the contractor responding to their queries and processing claims
- Design amendment coordination, contract document controlling
- Providing assistance to Engineer’s Representatives and assisting with tendering processes

**About you**

You love to learn and share knowledge and someone who can bring a fresh perspective. You are a Civil Engineer with a passion for problem-solving. Having recently completed a graduate programme in a similar environment, working on infrastructure and projects and have an interest in general civil construction such as retaining structures, pavements, earthworks and quality assurance processes. You will be familiar with contract management and have a working knowledge of NZ3910.
