We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team based in Auckland.

**About the role**

As a Senior Engineer with us, you will be overseeing the technical delivery of projects for the team, be responsible for the preparation of design documentation for roading, earthworks, drainage and over-land-flow across residential, commercial and industrial developments.

Working closely with our established clients, managing our growing key clients in the region and nationally, ensuring we deliver cost-effective and high-quality design.
- Leading project planning and design phases, contributing to innovative and efficient civil engineering solutions
- Master planning of civil infrastructure
- Waste water, stormwater, water supply, back flow prevention
- Design of stormwater attenuation, treatment, and disposal systems
- Paving design for asphalt, concrete and other hardstands
- Bulk earthworks quantities with Civil 3D
- Input to the production of detailed CAD drawings for all Design Stages
- Civil design reports and specifications
- Collaborating closely with team members, stakeholders, and clients to deliver projects that meet or exceed expectations
- Engaging in business development activities, fostering enduring relationships with clients and partners
- Mentoring junior engineers and technicians, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning

**About you**
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent, with 8 years+ professional experience as a Civil Engineer working in New Zealand
- CPEng qualified or working towards registration
- Leading and managing the delivery of civil engineering projects and operations
- Experience designing and detailing civil engineering projects in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Conversant with NZ Building codes, AS/NZ Standards and Local Authority requirements.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with clients, team members and stakeholders.
- An innovative thinker, always looking for ways to improve processes and designs for optimal outcomes.
- A high level of commercial awareness and financial competency
