**About the Role**
In this role you'll take responsibility for a national portfolio of properties, ranging from office buildings and depots, to farms and farmhouses. This role offers a wide scope, providing you with the opportunity to manage a diverse range of properties, both owned and leased.
This is an exciting role where you'll have the opportunity to manage an active property portfolio, ensuring LICs Facilities meet the need of our business to ensure we can provide excellent service to our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure the smooth running of our Building Works (facilities maintenance) team.
- Oversight of maintenance, services, and legislative requirements, including building WoF's and fire evacuation protocols.
- Confidently manage relationships with landlords, various Councils, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage and negotiate lease contracts.
- Work in partnership with key internal stakeholders to ensure our facilities are fit for purpose.
- Oversee security management for all sites.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any building issues or escalations.
**About You**
You'll confidentially demonstrate:
- A solid understanding of Council requirements and relevant legislation.
- Track record of managing a diverse property portfolio.
- Proven ability to manage third party service providers.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to get the best from your team.
- Experience in contract negotiation.
- Ability to manage budgets and prioritise expenditure
- Strong Health & Safety focus.
