We're excited to announce that Waipa Dental, a brand-new, locally owned dental practice in the heart of Cambridge, is opening its doors in January 2026. Bart, Lincoln, and Hayley are the proud owners, and we're looking to grow our team with passionate, friendly people who are eager to make a difference

We have two fantastic opportunities available:


Dental Assistant

We're looking for a Dental Assistant to support our talented clinical team and help deliver top-quality care to our patients.

You'll enjoy:

  • Working in a brand-new, modern facility
  • Joining a supportive team led by owners who are hands-on and care about your growth
  • Full-time preferred, but part-time options available for the right person

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience in dental assisting (but we're open to training the right person)
  • A positive, calm, and caring attitude
  • Great communication and attention to detail

Dental Receptionist

We also need a Dental Receptionist to be the welcoming face of Waipa Dental and help with all the essential front-desk duties

In this role, you'll:

  • Greet patients with a smile, manage appointments, and assist with billing
  • Help create a friendly and professional first impression for every patient
  • Full-time preferred, but part-time options available for the right person

You'll bring:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence with computers and practice management systems (training provided)
  • A positive, team-focused attitude
