**What’s the role about?**

Reporting to the Motor Claims Manager, this role is responsible for management of the portfolio of insurance claims, managing all claims and negotiations across the Motor portfolio.

You will be based in our stunning new central Auckland offices, where you will join a team that is passionate about providing the best experience. This role has flexibility to work from home up to two days per week. Plus, **no weekend or night shifts**This position is a fixed term contract to cover a period of leave and is due to conclude end of July 2025.

**Other duties include**:

- Answer customer enquiries around coverage, lodging a claim, and information required to support a claim
- Report and escalate risk and compliance related concerns, issues and failures.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce/ mitigate claims costs

**About you**:

- At least one year claims experience in the insurance industry
- Sound knowledge of claims processes, experience with motor or motorcycle insurance products is highly desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise tasks to meet timeframes
- Proven customer service skills
- Confident negotiator
