The Police Prosecution Service (PPS) is looking for a motivated, engaging individual to join the PPS team as a National Trainer within its Professional Development team.
You will be working with a highly motivated team in a supported environment offering excellent development opportunities.
The purpose of the PPS is to build Safer Communities through effective justice interventions and resolutions.
Your primary role will be developing and enhancing PPS staff capability primarily in the Central Auckland PPS office, Federal Street, Auckland. This would include delivering training (face to face and virtually), supporting (coaching and providing feedback) staff, and collaborating with training designers at the Royal New Zealand Police College to develop on-line training modules.
This an exciting opportunity to play your part in building the capability of the PPS and contributing to a culture that supports NZ Police policy and strategic direction.

A good understanding of the prosecution process and Criminal Procedure Act.
Experience in coaching and/or mentoring.
Ability to facilitate training and/or deliver presentations.
A positive attitude and ability to engage with current and emerging technologies.
