**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
An exciting opportunity is now available for a highly capable administrator with exposure in a procurement / supply chain environment looking for their next step in their career. The primary purpose of this role is to provide support to the procurement, contract and category management functions for the Outsourced Clinincal Sevices team based in Auckland. The role will assist in the development of sourcing plans and perform data analysis to identify opportunities to support procurement strategy and planning initiatives. The Procurement Officer will also play a part in monitoring, renewing and negotiating contracts as appropriate, and support end-to-end procurement initiatives at varying levels.
You will assist in our sourcing strategies that manage probity and support national, regional and local procurement activities including: exemption management, procurement plan development, RFx processes, and secondary procurement process. You will also support the technical, quality and commercial evaluation processes, including supplier presentations and reference site check vists if required.
You will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including the Category, Contract and Procurement Managers to assist in developing and maintaining an appropriate programme for Supplier Relationship Management for the category/portfolio of suppliers.

You have strong organisation, planning and problem-solving skills. You are able to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively even under pressure.

- Proven procurement exposure 1+ years
- Supplier Relationship experience
- Understanding of government end to end procurement practices
- Ability to work strategically whilst simultaneously maintain a focus on detail
- Good interpersonal communication skills, speaking confidently and conveying clear and compelling messages
- Team player with competent communication and influencing skills
- Confidence with qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
- Proficient if MS Office Suite
- Knowledge and appreciation of a category management approach
- Understanding of the development of commercial documents that demonstrate a level of commercial acumen and knowledge of commercial contracts
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
