Right now, there
is an opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join the Allied Health team who
provide services across in-patient, outpatient and community care services in
South Canterbury.
Reporting to the Social Work Professional
Leader, this role provides safe and clinically effective assessment,
working closely with the respective interdisciplinary team members either
within a specific area or across a broad range of areas. Our services
serve people with varying conditions which provides a stimulating clinical
environment that encourages new learnings allowing people with opportunities to
learn and grow within their day to day work.
The successful
socio-emotional and cultural along with delivery of requisite support. Additionally,
liaison with a range of parties and sound record keeping is essential to ensure
both continuity of care and management of risk.
We welcome
- Full registration with the New
Zealand Social Workers Registration board and a current practising certificate
- ANZASW membership and
participation in monthly clinical supervision
- Experience managing complex
needs of patients and whanau
- Aptitude to make autonomous
decisions within scope of practice
- Excellent oral and written
communication skills
