Support Worker

We are looking for passionate and motivated Support Workers to join our clients in providing care to people living with disabilities.

You may have experience in a similar role or are looking for your first opportunity - either way, we'd like to hear from you.

This role includes supporting and encouraging people in their daily lives including at home, work, day program, education, or in leisure/social times.

Key duties will include:

- Assisting clients to maintain independence and achieve the best quality of life
- This may include personal care, housekeeping, errands/trips, and companionship
- Building meaningful relationships with those you support

What we are looking for:

- Level 2, 3, or 4 qualifications in healthcare (preferred)
- First Aid certificate
- Certificate/qualification in de-escalation
- NZ driver licence
- Eligible to work in NZ
- Ability to work overnight shifts (sleepovers) if required
- Good physical fitness to allow you to perform personal cares as needed
- A caring and empathetic approach to your work
- A genuine interest in helping people achieve fulfilling and independent lives

You will always treat people with dignity and respect, and keep the person you are supporting at the centre of everything you do.
