We are seeking someone with either social housing skills, facility maintenance or other related building and or trade-related experience. Are you an organised person who loves to help other people? Do you have some knowledge in the following categories: Building, Glazing, Plumbing, Painting, Roofing, Surveying, Electrical or General Maintenance? We want people with practical experience with a can-do attitude, wanting to help other people

The Works Supervisor will provide direction and guidance to both Kāinga Ora personnel and subcontractors and ensure maintenance work is being performed as specified in the work order and in accordance with contractual and business key performance indicators.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

Maintenance Facilities Background (not essential).
Knowledge of work planning and scheduling procedures.
Experience in supervision and monitoring of subcontractors.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (not essential).
Familiarity and understanding of domestic building statutory obligations, codes of practice and Building code of New Zealand.
Full understanding of OH&S regulations.
Proven ability to prepare reports and manage multiple work orders.
Positive attitude who strives for quality excellence.
