We are seeking someone with either social housing skills, facility maintenance or other related building and or trade-related experience. Do you have some knowledge in the following categories: Building, Glazing, Plumbing, Painting, Roofing, Surveying, Electrical or General Maintenance? We want people with practical experience with a can-do attitude, wanting to help other people

The Senior Works Supervisor is responsible for the effective delivery of contract services and day-to-day supervision of sub-contractor services and Works Supervisors.

The occupant of this position will be highly organised, enjoy problem solving and great communication skills. The Senior Work Supervisor will ensure that works undertaken are in accordance with contractual arrangements between Spotless and respective subcontractors to meet or exceed the contractual obligations of the Kāinga Ora Maintenance Contract.

All delivery is underpinned by providing a world class service with focus on improving customer service experience.

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**
- Extensive experience in the domestic building industry (QSC or Contractors licence advantageous)
- Knowledge of work planning and scheduling procedures.
- Experience in the supervision and monitoring of subcontractors.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity and understanding of domestic building statutory obligations, codes of practice and Building code of New Zealand
- Full understanding of OH&S regulations.
- Financial skills appropriate to manage high volume maintenance contracts.
- Proven ability to prepare reports and gather / maintain data.
- Positive attitude who strives for quality excellence.
