We are looking for an experienced engagement superstar who will work with our community to understand their needs and aspirations for recreation in open spaces to help us plan and build the right stuff and look after our spaces for everyone to enjoy. You will need to have strategic and innovative thinking along with strong personal skills that allow you to partner with recreational users, community groups, iwi, businesses and landowners to identify needs, inform and create opportunities, to get people active and enjoying Rotorua's special spaces.

The Recreation & Environment Advisor sits in the Active and Engaged Communities Team. The purpose of this role is to partner with recreational users, community groups, iwi, businesses and landowners to identify recreational needs, inform and create recreational opportunities, and activate recreational spaces and environments.
