**About the role**

The primary function of the Kaitohutohu - Taunaki Tauira (Student Support Advisor) is to provide a professional support service for tauira throughout their learning journey based on the guiding principles and strategic goals of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.

**About you**

You will have proven experience working with tauira at all levels of tertiary study and the ability to work collaboratively to develop and implement tailored individual or group strategies. You will also have the flexibility to work rostered hours including nights and weekends and at other delivery sites when required.

**You will also have the following**
- Bachelor Degree in a field relevant to education, psychology or sociology
- Full NZ Drivers Licence (Clean - Class 1)
- Proven experience in an education or social services type role
