We are looking for two Managers to join our Credit Leadership team and lead our Investigations and Compliance teams in our Credit branch. The Credit Branch carries out our Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003 (CCCF Act) enforcement, education and policy functions. Our work under the CCCF Act helps protect people when they borrow money or buy goods on credit, including through home loans, credit cards and short or long-term loans.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
As Manager, Credit Investigations and Compliance, you will report to the General Manager, Credit and lead a dedicated and supportive team who are responsible for investigating potential breaches of the CCCF Act and making enforcement decisions that enable the Commission to achieve its CCCF Act responsibilities and strategic outcomes.
Working collaboratively with the other Investigations and Compliance Manager and other members of the Credit Leadership team, you will lead and have responsibility for developing and implementing the Credit branch's enforcement strategy and the continuous improvement of its investigations' procedures and processes. You will also be contributing to the Credit Leadership team's wider strategy and business planning. Your role will also require you to collaborate and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally, including members of the Council of Financial Regulators, the Board and Senior Managers across the organisation.
This is a permanent position based in either our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) or Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office.
