**H2R** are immediately seeking a **Logistics and Planning Lead is required** to come on board, to work and lead the logistics and planning aspect/s of the response.
The Logistics and Planning Lead (Response), is responsible for leading a team responsible for monitoring the inflows of people from various parts of the globe, and managing the logístical and planning requirements relating to the their initial period in New Zealand.
**Personal specifications**
- Proven experience in planning and logistics, including sound knowledge in supply chain and procurement.
- Proven experience in managing operational processes that rely on the use of data and modelling to inform decision-making.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate through ambiguous situations in a constantly evolving environment.
- Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring others to achieve results and personal growth.
- Sound understanding of Government decision-making and operating procedures.
- Credit check required - yes
**Critical areas of success**
- Provides regular reporting on accommodation capacity and allocation planning, identifying risks and managing them accordingly.
- Responsible for implementing effective and efficient procedures for the movement of people between different accommodation providers, ensuring compliance with the XXXX guidelines.
- Supports the Head of Operations (Response) with the procurement and management of temporary accommodation for people affected.
**Relationship Management**
- Manages constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance understanding and co-operation needed to achieve desired results.
- Represents whole-of-Ministry views and protects its reputation in external interactions.
