**Administration Team Leader - Queenstown**

As part of this role you will be required to manage all aspects of the administration team and generally keeping an ear out, so you know what is going on This is a seasonal position, reporting to the Administration Head of Department. In this role, you will assist the HOD to deliver the company purpose and mission statements and the department objectives.
**About the role**
- You will be required to motivate, develop and lead a team within the Administration department
- Multi-task, problem solve and work well under pressure
- Reception duties including managing the switchboard, meeting and greeting guests and monitoring and responding to the 2 way radio
- Daily updating of Snow Reports via telephone and internet as conditions change
- Processing lift tickets for VIP's and Media personnel
- Reuniting lost children with their parents
- Provide administration support to management and other departments including note taking
- Maintaining ski area records, including invoicing, health and safety and training records
- Ordering supplies, stocktaking, management and coordination of the issue and return of all staff uniforms
- Producing innovative and informative staff newsletters
- Supporting the admin HOD in planning and execution of events
- Assisting with staff events and incentives including sporting events, reward and recognition and staff parties
**About You**
- Minimum one years leadership experience ensuring that safe, fun and outstanding service is delivered for both our staff and our guests
- Minimum three years’ experience in office management or similar
- Events and/or Social Media experience would be an asset
- Previous experience working within an alpine environment is an asset
- You will bring strong organisational skills paired with a practical and innovative approach to problem solving and task management
- A strong administrative background including excellent computer skills, a professional phone manner
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- The ability to quickly build a rapport with all guests and team members, coupled with strong leadership skills
