We're looking for a Corporate Administration Support person to join our friendly Customer Services team based in Queenstown in a one-year fixed-term contract role. What you'll be doing / He aha te mahi

You will support the administration of the Council's internal systems to the organisation-wide enterprise system (TechOne) and will assist with clerical and administration tasks required by Managers and staff throughout the organisation.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting the customer service team
  • Inputting data from applications into internal systems
  • Dealing with public and internal staff via counter, email and phone
  • Processing payments including cash, cheque, eftpos and online payments
  • Managing requests for meeting rooms and vehicle

What you'll bring to the role / Ko wai to Pukeka

You'll have a number of years experience in an administrative focused position, along with customer service experience. You'll be a natural people person and will be comfortable and capable of dealing with a wide variety of people. You'll be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to quickly problem solve and think on your feet.

To best succeed in this role, you'll be:

  • Highly motivated and have an enthusiastic approach to work
  • Organised and a strong planner
  • Familiar with the suite of Microsoft products
