A core requirement to successfully deliver this ambition is to be a commercial and data driven business, ensuring we enable our people to do what they do best - deliver amazing customer experiences, create growth, and increase the value of our business.

**Here’s the exciting part**

If you’re in the market for a key partnership position whereby you’ll provide the capability for delivering great commercial & data insights to better enable the retail business to achieve its strategic plan, then this will be for you. As part of our Finance team, as well as part of Contact’s data community, you will leverage your data insight, commercial and engagement capabilities to work across the business to help identify and better understand commercial opportunities and challenges in Retail, providing data driven insights and clear recommendations, to enable better commercial decisions and actions for our Retail business. Here is a high level overview of some of the tasks you’ll get involved with;
- Leading the Retail Finance Data pod (working with a Data Engineer) within Contact’s data community, providing data insights to Retail Finance and Retail business owners, leveraging the data community’s platforms, tools and processes.
- Designing and implementing self-service reporting through leveraging the new data platform and tools capabilities, to ensure improved insights and productivity for data led decision making for the retail business (including on customer and product performance).
- Work closely with Finance colleagues, insight analysts and others within business teams to provide commercial and data support and oversight and build data insights capability, including through taking a proactive approach to coaching/mentoring.
- Work with Retail business owners to ensure high quality business casing for potential strategic and tactical initiatives, including pre and post analysis of business cases, providing collaborative but robust challenge to ensure resources are optimally deployed for the organisation.
