**Opportunity Overview**
Step up as a Team Leader for Kōrure Whānau - Te Whānau o Waipareira's frontline services team. In this leadership role, you will drive frontline operations, supporting all frontline kaimahi and contributing positively to whānau well-being.
Our Team Leaders ensure the safe, efficient, and accountable delivery of all whānau services, aligned to the Whānau Ora framework. As a key member Kōrure Whānau's Leadership Group, you will uphold the mana of Te Whānau o Waipareira and create relationships that uplift the cultural, economic, environmental, and social wellbeing of the local community.
**Skills & Experience Needed**
It is preferred that our Team Leaders showcase:
- Qualification supervision, health, education, or social practice.
- Three+ years of experience working in the community sector.
It is essential that our Team Leaders showcase:
- Employee Relations expertise (recruitment, performance, leave).
- Knowledge of legislation, contracts, and reporting.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, planning, and coordination skills.
- Understanding of Waitākere community networks.
- Commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori and kaupapa Māori.
- Proficient IT, problem-solving, time management, and a clean NZ Driver’s Licence.
