Reporting to the General Manager - People & Safety, the Health and Safety Business Partner will deliver customised safety solutions to the business that provide value on the workshop floor while also help us achieve our safety goals.

This role has a healthy mix of day-to-day activity alongside higher-level activity working with the General Manager to move the dial on the overall safety performance of this business.

There is a decent amount of admin in this role, therefore being a strong administrator who is confident with Microsoft office suite and safety systems is critical for this position.

Knowing how to influence and coach others is a big part of this role, therefore having previous experience in this space is desired. Understanding the operational nature of the business and partnering to find workable solutions will see you successful in this role.

You will deliver health and safety programmes, providing sound advice and safety related expertise to a wide range of managers and employees.

Ideally degree qualified, you will be a technical safety expert with demonstrated experience in a business partner environment. Having the right fit with our business is also really important therefore your sense of humour and fun will be just as important as your work ethic. Being prepared to get stuck in and get things done will be a product of your high level of motivation.

To be successful you will need to be pragmatic, practical and adaptive to the challenges of a busy workplace.
