**The Role**:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position will be the “face” of finance to the business, working as a trusted partner to the operations team to provide analysis and financial information to support enhanced decision making. The Finance Business Partner will provide recommendations for improvement and will drive accountability for change, with a focus on pushing for self-sufficiency and improving reporting to help deliver insights. They will be a true business partner, getting out into the business to see and understand how the business works. This is an additional role to the current team structure which will enable great support to the operational team to drive efficiency and process improvement and critically, deliver insights to the teams.

The role will work closely with the General Manager - Operations and their direct reports to provide commercial advice on costings in all areas including Labour, Manufacturing, Engineering, Health & Safety, Freight and Inwards/Outwards Goods. You will also be responsible for Capex reporting and the management of a number of projects within the operations team. Dairyworks is a medium sized business and as such, you will need to be to hands on during month-end and prepared to get down into the detail, performing your own management accounting tasks as well as the higher-level business partnering work.

**The Person**:
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about getting out into the business to understand what drives revenue and profitability. You will be driven to “make life easier” for the teams you are supporting, and you will continuously identify opportunities as well as risks, ensuring they are managed appropriately. There is plenty of scope to make improvements, so a desire to continuously challenge and improve is fundamental.
