With business booming, CARTERS East Tamaki is seeking an experienced Account Manager. Local market insight and building industry know-how is an advantage but this role will equally suit an individual that possess solid planning and organisational skills, typical of a B2B environment or FMCG etc

Working closely with the Branch Manager and Sales Managers, this fast-paced role will see you partner and managing our key accounts and build on our customers success.

As an Account Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

- Managing existing relationships with our key accounts.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure Carters provides complete solutions and packages for customers
- Implementing regular sales cycles, visiting building sites and identifying opportunities for growth
- Providing product and market info to your Customer base
- Reading building plans, understanding your Customer's build and anticipating what they will need next
**WHAT YOU NEED**:

- High level of forward planning skills coupled with the ability to adapt quickly.
- A proficient level of communication.
- Successful sales professional within a B2B environment
- Breaking into new markets excites you and you understand the value of price and margin in building profitable business
- High level of self-motivation where you work well autonomously and are highly organized
- High level of problem solving ability together with the ability to quickly establish strong relationships
- Exposure to and knowledge to the building industry is very advantageous
