We are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to join our team at Defenhealth NZ Limited, a leading retailer of health products in New Zealand. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with our key clients, overseeing their accounts, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the main point of contact for all account matters.
- Understand clients' needs and objectives, and work closely with internal teams to ensure these are met.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
- Develop and implement account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Monitor account performance and provide regular reports and updates to management.
- Resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and events as required to represent the company and network with clients.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in International Business, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 3 years work experience in customer service management or sales, preferably in trading industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
