Internal Account Manager: Auckland

What you'll be doing

· Serving as the first point of contact for a dedicated group of approximately 2500 customers.

· Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships through regular communication by phone, email, and online channels.

· Processing customer orders and quotes via email, phone and online store systems

· Proactively identifying and acting on sales opportunities and supporting external sales and technical teams

· Using CRM insights to maintain accurate records to support effective communication

· Tracking customer activity via sales metrics and reporting to the relevant departments

What we're looking for

· A confident and resilient communicator who can handle rejection and push forward with a positive attitude.

· Strong commercial acumen — you understand the numbers, and you know how to make them sing.

· Proven experience in sales and is able to adapt to the changing markets, products and customer needs.

· Experience in fishing, forestry, or construction is a bonus — but not a dealbreaker. We'll teach you the ropes (literally).
