**About this role**
Do you find purpose in innovative solutions? We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated **Associate Advisory** to join our vibrant and enthusiastic group based in **Auckland**. You will anchor and grow Arup’s Advisory group in New Zealand focused on business cases and economic analysis across a range of infrastructure subsectors. You will lead the development of a major business cases within NZ, to expand Arup’s Advisory offering in the NZ market, and to work across Arup’s Australasia region.
**What will I do?**
- Responsible for managing business case and policy assignments for a mix of public and private sector clients.
- Identify, pursue, secure and deliver business cases and economic analysis projects across New Zealand. Generating new business opportunities and leads;
- Build internal network with various business and GTM leads, to ensure mobilization of wider Arup expertise across planning, design, engineering, finance, and research sectors to meet specific client needs;
- Manage client relationships with government departments, local authorities, transport authorities, project and property developers, infrastructure operators, and other organisations; and
- Seek innovative solutions and embrace innovative methods to add value to clients, the environment and society.
**What will I bring?**
- Recognised tertiary qualifications within the appropriate area including relevant industry experience with membership of relevant professional institutions / professional bodies or significant credit towards eligibility
- Strong experience in MS Office Software including advanced quantitative skills. Exposure to Tableau, STRATA, R or similar will be advantageous;
- Demonstrated success leading business cases, integrating the five cases into complete and endorsed business cases, leading and delivering economic appraisals, and managing collaborative engagements involving experts with diverse expertise (planning / finance / commercial / design / engineering).
- Prior experience delivering quality to New Zealand central government clients and ability to develop and articulate the strategic case for investment, and to see the “bigger picture”; and
- Contribute to the development of others through sharing expertise, demonstrates design/supervisory experience and fantastic interpersonal skills.
