We are looking for a Senior People and Performance Partner to join the Higgins team based in Auckland.

Reporting to the Head of People and Performance, you will provide practical, expert ‘people’ focused advice and support to the Higgins Northern and Fiji Areas to ensure that effective people strategies, plans and objectives are adopted to build capability and fulfil longer term strategic goals.

You’ll be partnering at a strategic and operational level across employee relations, talent management, people strategy and policy, organisation development, workforce planning, remuneration, systems and analytics, diversity and inclusion and wellbeing - there will be a great deal of variety in your role

In addition, we’ll need you to provide leadership, support and coaching to a small team.

The Higgins Northern Area is made up of Auckland, Waikato, and they Bay of Plenty, so this alongside supporting our Fiji business will mean there is a requirement for regular travel.

**About you**
- Minimum 10 years generalist experience
- Proven track record in people and performance leadership and management
- Experience partnering at a senior level
- Team leadership and management experience
- Strong ER skills and with experience handling complexity
- Confidence when communicating across all levels
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred, not essential
- Full Class 1 Drivers licence

Experience within roading, civil works, construction, transport, logistics, infrastructure would be an advantage - however, this is not essential
