**We are on the hunt for an energetic & well organized Functions & Sales Coordinator to join the Functions & Events at Kāpura**

This role is a bit of a hybrid between Function & Events sales and operations, plus administrative tasks. Responsibilities include supporting management, and assisting venues with delivery of planned functions and events to exceed customer expectations and create memorable experiences. Great Function & Events team members are organized yet flexible, creative yet budget-minded, and above all love taking care of our customers whilst staying on top of a million things at once.

The purpose of the Functions & Sales Coordinator is to deliver reactive sales activity. Key focus includes supporting the qualifying of leads, creation of proposals and conversion of leads to achieve a business plan based around sales, revenue and expense controls. There is both a sales and administrative requirement to this role which ranges from customer relations to events planning to system and process management.

**The Events & Retail Functions Team Member role will work within the Functions & Events team focusing on the following key areas**:

- Assisting the venues with theming, logistics and execution of events
- Liaising & communicating with customers, suppliers as well as relevant Kapura team members to support the execution of events.
- Promote Kāpura venues and confidently cross sell venues and offerings
- Overseeing and processing of Function and events bookings

**A bit about you**:

- You’ll have a minimum of 1 years experience in planning & execution of Functions
- You’ll have an interest in pursuing a career in Hospitality or Functions & Event management
- You are a people person, have an upbeat attitude and get a kick out of making someone’s day
- You’ll have well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- You enjoy a bit of organised chaos and love working under pressure
- You are a ninja with Gmail, Excel and Cloud based systems
