**A bit about your role**

As the **Capital Programme Lead**, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding YOBD’s capital programme. You’ll take ownership of the capital approval process, ensuring projects are well‑planned, well‑governed, and aligned with organisational goals. You’ll be the key driver behind the development of both the annual and long‑term capital plans, keeping the programme on track and ensuring information flows smoothly across the business.

Reporting directly to the **Head of Capital Projects**, you’ll work closely with project managers, site leaders, and senior stakeholders across the organisation. From maintaining the capital project register to facilitating programme reviews and ensuring accurate forecasting, you’ll be the central connection point that keeps our capital programme running with clarity, consistency, and confidence.

**A bit about you**

You’re someone who brings a proven ability to coordinate complex programmes of work and support teams to deliver successful outcomes. You’ll have several years’ experience working with capital projects or project management processes, and you’re comfortable navigating both the detail and the bigger picture. You’re known for your critical thinking, your ability to identify risks early, and your knack for bringing people together to solve problems.

Westland Milk Products is a well‑known New Zealand end‑to‑end dairy manufacturer based in the beautiful South Island, with offices and production facilities in both Christchurch and Hokitika. As part of the Yili Oceania Business Division (YOBD), Westland plays a central role in delivering high‑quality dairy products to global markets.

Owned by the global Top 5 dairy company Yili Group, Westland Milk Products and its related New Zealand businesses—Oceania Dairy (Glenavy), Pure Nutrition (Rolleston), Canary Foods (Hamilton) and EasiYo (Auckland)—form what we refer to as the Yili Oceania group. Together, we produce over 170,000mt of finished goods exported to more than 40 countries, generating annual revenue well in excess of $1.3B and continuing to grow.
