The Programme Coordinator is responsible for providing programme level tracking, monitoring, reporting and automation within the National Weathertightness Programme.

You will be a member of the Weathertightness Team, based in the Ministry's Christchurch office, supporting the delivery of a programme of over 200 weathertightness remediation projects. Following the School Property Group's policies, procedures and guidelines.

You will work closely with other Weathertightness Programme team members and Property colleagues to support the delivery of a high volume, often complex, weathertight construction projects at schools across the motu.

Your key priorities will include:

- **Programme Documentation Systems**: Manage and maintain programme records, registers, and documentation standards; act as a central coordination point for systems and workflows.
- **Tracking Reporting**: Coordinate tracking of deliverables, milestones, and risks; produce regular status reports and dashboards to support visibility and decision-making.
- **Data Integrity Analysis**: Monitor data accuracy across systems, resolve discrepancies through analysis and stakeholder engagement, and support cross-programme planning and resource tracking.
- **Continuous Improvement Stakeholder Engagement**: Lead improvements to information management tools and templates; facilitate timely engagement with internal and external stakeholders to align with programme objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will have come from a background in programme coordination with experience in coordinating workstreams, tracking progress against milestones, and supporting the implementation of programme plans and frameworks. Attention to detail will be one of your strengths.

You work well in small teams, take ownership of tasks, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. You will be someone who can work both collaboratively and autonomously, confidently managing stakeholder communication, have excellent written and verbal skills. You will have the ability to manage your personal workload but simultaneously assist with the priorities and workload of the team.

You will also offer:

- **Programme Project Delivery**: Proven experience supporting complex programmes in multi-stakeholder environments, with a good understanding of public sector or large organisation dynamics.
- **Coordination Implementation**: Skilled in managing workstreams, tracking milestones, and supporting programme frameworks, and reporting tools.
- **Data Integration Automation**: Experienced in building automated workflows and connecting data from multiple sources to create unified reporting systems that enhance decision-making.
- **Information Financial Management**: Adept at improving programme systems, templates, and tools; capable of reviewing and managing financial data to support accurate reporting.
- **Insight-Driven Decision Support**: Strong ability to use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, influencing decisions at both organisational and system levels.
- **Advanced Microsoft Tools Expertise**: High level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Including SharePoint, Excel with Power Query and macros, and PowerPoint), alongside proven experience using Power BI and Power Automate.
- The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
