Our Client is a private surgical hospital in the Bay of Plenty, with nine theatres, a minor GA procedure room and an endoscopy suite.? They offer a variety of surgical procedures to the wider Bay of Plenty community. Recent campus development has delivered two new operating theatres with the latest integrated systems and Indigo-clean technology.

**About the role**

We are looking for the right person to lead and develop our client’s Perioperative Services clinical functions to ensure the organisation remains first choice for patients, consultants and as an employer in the Bay of Plenty. ?The hospital employs 330 staff and the role has overarching responsibility for the theatre and PACU nursing teams, Anaesthetic Technicians and perioperative HCAs. ?Therefore, proven leadership experience managing a large and multi-faceted team is vital.

As Perioperative Services Manager your role sits within the senior management team, contributing to the strategic activities of the hospital. ?Ongoing campus development projects requires the ability to mitigate risks of working alongside construction. The successful applicant must be able to develop plans for future forecasting of patient and resource requirements.
