We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

We are part of Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, the overarching organisation for New Zealand’s national health service. Te Whatu Ora leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.

**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We have two Team Supervisor roles available.

The first role is a **permanent, full time,** opportunity. Working Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 16:30 PM and will be based at Greenlane Clinical Centre. This role will allow you the opportunity to display your leadership skills, build relationships and grow your knowledge base within the organisation and will support our surgical outpatients’ team.

The second role is a** full time, fixed-term** for approx. twenty months, working Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 16:30 PM. This role will include the supervision of both our ORL surgical booking and outpatients’ team.

This position will suit a motivated individual with a proactive approach and a high level of initiative. As the ideal person for the role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- A good understanding of the Surgical and Outpatient pathway
- Proven previous experience in a supervisory/coordination role
- Team player, demonstrating the ability to build good, longstanding relationships both inside and outside of the services
- Strong time management skills; needed for competing priorities and maintaining a good work life balance
- Resilient and have a great sense of humour - as some days you might need it.
