Your Opportunity

The purpose of the job is to supervise TGE’s fleet maintenance so it operates to the highest levels of safety, efficiency and profitability.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to monitor and maintain the company fleet vehicle faults and follow-ups, and the scheduling of servicing, repairs and maintenance; ensuring that the fleet is well maintained in a presentable & roadworthy condition, and the overall running costs including down-time costs are minimized.

Working as part of the TGE fleet team, effective communication with team members and developing good working relationships with both internal and external suppliers & customers is essential.

What you’ll bring to this role

You will need to demonstrate the ability to influence others in sound judgment and decision-making; have great interpersonal and communication skills; be a creative thinker; one who can be solutions and delivery focused, and above all have a great customer service ethos.

This position requires the following qualifications and experience:
Knowledge/Experience- Experience- Transport/freight & logistics industry - 5 years preferred-
- Extensive Mechanical Experience-
- Knowledge of:
- Transport regulations and rules-
- Freight management and logisticsTechnical/Professional Skills required- Microsoft Office Skills (Intermediate level)- Interpersonal Skills (Advanced level)
