**The opportunity**
We are looking for a talented trust account administrator to join our Auckland team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with financial data, has a knack for anticipating and resolving issues, and excels at staying organised in a fast-paced environment.
**The role**
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end process of financial settlements related to legal transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout. You will act as a key liaison between clients, banks, and internal teams, facilitating seamless transactions and maintaining clear communication. Your responsibilities will also include keeping meticulous financial records, performing regular reconciliations, and collaborating closely with the financial operations team to ensure all regulatory and legal standards are met.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Processing trust account transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, while ensuring all activities are transparent and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, banks, and internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth transaction flow.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and conducting regular reconciliations to safeguard the integrity of financial data.
- Actively contributing to process improvement initiatives within the finance team.Working closely with the finance team to operate and maintain the Trust Management System.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritise tasks.A commitment to consistently delivering high-quality, accurate work.
**Qualifications, experience and knowledge required**
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a settlements or similar role within a legal or financial services environment is advantageous.Experience with financial software and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
